DES MOINES, Iowa - In a road conference match, the University of Evansville fell to Drake, 1-0, in Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the 16th minute, earning a penalty kick that Erik _____ converted to give Drake a 1-0 lead. Evansville created multiple first half opportunities in the opening half, taking a 3-2 lead in shots to the half, albeit trailing 1-0 on the scoreboard.
The second half once again belonged to Evansville in terms of shots. The Aces out-shot the Bulldogs in the second half, 6-3, before the match was stopped in the 78th minute due to a weather delay.
