ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Missouri Valley Conference has honored University of Evansville junior left-hand pitcher Nathan Croner, naming him the MVC Pitcher of the Week.
And with good reason. In his fourth start of the season, Croner tossed a gem in game one of a doubleheader sweep of Iowa on Sunday. The southpaw went seven innings, shutting out the the potent Iowa batting order, while striking out seven, while scattering a walk and two hits.
