Box Score EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Powered by an impressive performance on the mound by Nathan Croner, the University of Evansville soared to an 11-0 win over Creighton on Saturday afternoon at Charles H. Braun Stadium.
"I knew they were going to come out with a lot of energy. Creighton is a well-respected program that plays the game the right way and they're always going to respond, especially after a tough loss on Friday night," said Aces' baseball head coach Wes Carroll. "Those first three innings, Nate Croner, our pitcher, just really cut out their momentum and gave our offense a chance to have our big inning and I thought just another outstanding performance from an upperclassman.
