EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville Director of Athletics Mark Spencer has announced the signing of head volleyball coach Manolo Concepcion to a contract extension with the Purple Aces program. The extension was signed prior to the season and is official immediately.
"Coach Concepcion has brought a great nucleus of talent to our volleyball program and is moving in the right direction," Spencer said. "We are excited for the future of the program and the advantage of being able to recruit to Meeks Family Fieldhouse."
Concepcion has his squad off to a great start in 2017 as the Aces won their first five matches of the season and took top honors at the season-opening Leatherneck Invitational hosted by Western Illinois.
