EVANSVILLE – University of Evansville women's basketball assistant coach Tyra Buss' basketball career began and flourished in the Tri-State and now Buss is prepared to help the next generation begin their careers.
A four-year starter at Indiana, Buss turned-in one of the best careers in Hoosier basketball history, finishing as the program's leader in points, assists, and steals, and earning the 2018 Postseason WNIT MVP. When Buss steps on the court this time, though, it will be helping lead a team from the sidelines.
Basketball has been a constant throughout Buss' life, playing the game for much of her youth and nearly her whole family being involved with the game.
