EVANSVILLE – It's been quite a year for Reitz Memorial High School standout and University of Evansville signee Sam Bonano.
Following a run to yet another state championship in the fall, the All-American committed his future to UE, and Thursday evening, he picked up yet another accolade as he was named the Boys' Soccer Player of the Year at the Indiana Sports Awards, which were held at Clowes Memorial Hall in Indianapolis.
'This is a great honor for Sam and our community," UE head coach Marshall Ray said. "He is a coach's player and gives everything he has for the team.
