OWENSBORO, Ky. - For the first time in more than 35 years, the University of Evansville men's and women's track and field teams earned team titles at the KWC Twilight Invite in Owensboro, Ky.
The Aces earned team victories on both sides with Evansville's women capturing a 16-point margin over second-place Campbellsville, while the Aces' men scored a 173-141 spread over second-place Kentucky Wesleyan.
On the women's side, the Aces earned wins in the 1500 meters, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 3000 meters, pole jump, and discus.
Sophomores Monica Watkins and Anna Lowry shined for Evansville each dominating their disciplines.
