DES MOINES, Iowa - Battling a short bench, the University of Evansville women's basketball team opened the weekend with a 97-54 loss at Drake to begin MVC play on Saturday afternoon in Des Moines, Iowa.
For the second time this season, senior guard Myia Clark reached the 20-point mark, tying a season-best with three made three-pointers. Joining Clark in double-digits was junior Je'Naiya Davis, who recorded 15 points on the afternoon, with all but three coming inside the arc. Just missing double-figures, junior guard/forward Abby Feit closed the contest with eight points, to go along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
