Aces roll past Chicago State, 76-42

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Returning home to Meeks Family Fieldhouse, the University of Evansville women's basketball team dominated Chicago State, 76-42, in the final game on campus this decade on Wednesday evening.

Sophomore A'Niah Griffin led the Aces with 14 points, powered by two buckets and fouls late in the game. Redshirt junior Jada Poland also finished in double-figures with 10 points, while pullling down a team-high nine rebounds. For the Cougars, Tyeshia Bowers finished with a game-high 15 points.

Evansville jumped out to an early lead in the contest and never looked back. Just three-and-a-half minutes into the contest, the Aces held a 10-2 advantage as sophomore Anna Newman got to the basket for a layup.
