SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - Competing at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, the University of Evansville women's golf team carded a 17-stroke improvement in the second round of the tournament at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn.
After tallying a 330 on the opening day, the Purple Aces recorded a 313 as a team in Tuesday's second round for a total of 643, putting Evansville in eighth through two days of the three day competition. Jacksonville State continues to lead the intercollegiate with two-round total of 605.
In the second round, Sophia Rohleder marked a six-stroke improvement from her opening round 80, recording a two-over 74 on the second day.
