EVANSVILLE - After opening the season with four-straight results, the University of Evansville men's soccer team begins Missouri Valley Conference play against SIUE on Saturday at 6 PM at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville.
The Aces start to the season marks the first time UE has entered conference play unbeaten since the 1990 season when Evansville opened the year with a 5-0 win over Eastern Illinois before opening MCC action against SLU. After opening with a 2-2 road draw with Bellarmine, UE captured 3-1 and 3-0 victories over IUPUI and UIW, respectively. Evansville is ranked in the top 50 in the nation in 12 statistical categories, including 16th in shots per game and 17th in assists per game.
