CARBONDALE, Ill.- The Purple Aces women's swimming and diving team rounded out their season Friday at the Missouri Valley Conference championships.
Sarah Jahns started the day out strong with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with time of 2:01.34. The time tied her 2020 record in the event. Iryna Tsesiul also competed in the event and finished in fourteenth (2.03.68), setting the third-place school record.
Sage Moore set the UE school record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:17.74. She placed fifth at the meet. Allison McDonald swam in the same event placing eleventh (2:24.
