NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb's Brady Puckett enjoyed one of his best outings of the season, and he was able to silence the University of Evansville baseball team's offense in big moments as the Purple Aces fell 4-1 to the Bisons at Ken Dugan Field.
Puckett, who tossed a complete game, allowed just six hits and struck out eight in the contest to improve to 3-2 on the season.
With the loss, the Aces dropped to 7-14 overall while LU improved to 13-8.
Patrick Schnieders earned the start for the Aces, and aside from a two-run second inning, the senior right-hander was impressive, scattering eight hits and striking out three over six innings of work.
