MOREHEAD, Ky. – A late Molly Lear equalizer sent the game into extra time on Friday evening, but Morehead State would have some late magic of its own, pulling out a 3-2 double-overtime victory over the University of Evansville women's soccer team at Jayne Stadium.
After out-shooting the hosts 9-4 in the opening half, Bronwyn Boswell put the Aces (1-4-0) on the board first after a foul inside the 18-yard box in the 64th minute. The senior out of Frisco, Texas, stepped up and converted the ensuing penalty for the third time this season, giving her a team-leading four goals.
