EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Swimming and diving fought hard this evening in Saint Louis, but took the loss to the Billikens.
The final standings for the women were: SLU – 151, Evansville – 73. On the men's side: SLU – 156, Evansville – 65.
"I was happy with our effort today," said head coach Rickey Perkins. "We did not have a lot of front end speed; we were able to bring the race home but we ran out of room. Over the next few weeks we will work on taking our races out faster."
Senior Danielle Freeman led the way for the women tonight with two individual wins.
