SETTING THE SCENE: •The Purple Aces come into this midweek match-up on the heels of their first victory of the season, avoiding a sweep at the hands of Mercer with a 7-2 win this past Sunday.
THE OPPOSITION: •The top-ranked Commodores are coming off a big weekend in the MLB4 Collegiate Baseball Tournament, where they outslugged perennial powers Virginia and #19 Cal State-Fullerton 15-9 and 14-9, respectively.
