The Edmonton Oilers finally won their first game since the All-Star Break concluded less than two weeks ago. The last time this team scored a win was on January 16 in a shoot out against the Vancouver Canucks.
A lot of things have changed for this franchise since that win a few weeks ago. Peter Chiarelli isn’t in charge of making any roster decisions, and a lot of the media and fanbase scrutiny has died down a lot since his firing. But the fact of the matter is that this is the time for the Edmonton Oilers to make one final push for a playoff spot.
