Edmonton Oilers star Leon Draisaitl scored the 400th goal of his National Hockey League (NHL) career in Wednesday night's home opener.
In the second period facing the Battle of Alberta, provincial rival Calgary Flames, Oilers forward Draisaitl scored his first goal of the season on the powerplay. He potted the goal on a wide open cage off a feed from Oilers rookie, David Tomasek. His goal gave the team a 3-0 lead.

His goal helped the Czech-born forward, Tomasek record the first point of his NHL career.
