The Edmonton Oilers have added Jeremy Coupal to the coaching staff as the club’s new video coach.
Coupal, 27, joins the Oilers staff after spending the past three seasons as Video Coordinator with the Nashville Predators.
Prior to joining the Nashville Predators, the Montreal, Quebec native served as a volunteer Assistant Coach for Bemidji State University in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) for the 2012-13 season.
Coupal graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2012 with a degree in Industrial and Management Engineering. Coupal was a goaltender for the RPI Varsity team and was a key member in founding the RPI men’s Club Hockey team in the American Collegiate Hockey Conference (ACHA).
