A Leon Draisaitl for Karlsson deal doesn’t make sense because of the money owed to Draisaitl and the way the Senators operate. The Senators are looking for multiple pieces as well to help with their rebuild.
Trading for Karlsson is a long-shot for the Oilers, with the Vegas Golden Knights making more sense.
