The Edmonton Oilers escaped Sunrise with a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers. However, they lost Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to a hand injury, and he will now be out for 6-8 weeks.
When you hear Nugent-Hopkisn int he news today, it is about how the Oilers are shopping him, or about how he is too soft of a hockey player and cannot contribute to the Oiers success. However, once injured, Oilers fans are acting like it is the end of the world.
It’s not.
I have nothing against Nuge. In fact, he is one of my favorite players.
