Welcome back to Trade Rumors! Every week for my fellow Edmonton Oilers fans, I write about the different Oilers trade rumors. This week we have a fun one. Apparently, according to the Internet (meaning this must be true, the Oilers are ready to make a HUGE blockbuster trade with the New York Islanders.
According to Eklund, founder and CEO of hockeybuzz.com, the Oilers are all in on a blockbuster trade with the Islanders. The Oilers are going to supposedly give up Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and the team will send back Travis Hamonic. Other big names, such as Kyle Okposo, may be involved as well.
