It’s been almost a week since Connor McDavid started practicing with the Edmonton Oilers again and fans across Oil Country are anxiously awaiting his return to the lineup. There is still no timeline for McDavid’s return, but the general assumption is that the Oilers will keep him out until after the All-Star break.
When he is fully healed and ready to play, the question becomes who will Head Coach Todd McLellan put on a line with McDavid? There’s a chance McLellan could try to rekindle the success that McDavid, Nail Yakupov and Benoit Pouliot had earlier in the year, but personally, I would love to see McDavid and Jordan Eberle paired together.
