With less than a week until the NHL trade deadline, which end at 3 p.m. next Monday, the Edmonton Oilers have a lot to consider. Though it has been said by multiple sources that the hunt for a legitimate number one defenseman will wait until the offseason, there are new reports that the team will not just sit by this year.
In fact, TSN has reported that the team is looking to shake up their current roster. The team supposedly made a front-office decision that they will be sellers at this year’s deadline, hoping to dump some cap-eating contracts, and now, they are rumored to be looking for anything they can get.
