Today, I am more than happy to put this painful Edmonton Oilers rumor to sleep. Many of you are afraid that the team will dump Nail Yakupov into Tampa Bay in exchange for Jonathan Drouin.
Though the rumor has no legitimate source, many are questioning it and saying that it will happen. If you search it on Twitter, a result pops up.
It’s not going to happen.
Yakupov is a wheeling and dealing winger, and he may not be on the Oilers roster forever. We recognize that.
However, the Oilers are not in on Drouin right now.
