Edmonton Oilers Rookie Camp was a barrel of fun, for fans who have had relatively little to cheer about, the last few seasons in particular. But while that IS important, quite honestly, so are reasonable expectations.
Rookie camp for the Oilers this year went almost entirely according to plan. They went in with only 3 players having even at outside shot at breaking camp with the big team, this Fall, and we came out exactly the same way.
Now, you may well point to any number of performances in Penticton, and be impressed with those players.
