More news broke out from the Edmonton Oilers rumor mill today. Bob McKenzie was on TSN1260 in Edmonton this morning. He was asked about Shattenkirk.
“It think people are keeping an eye on the Blues,” McKenzie said. “Once they get healthy, I think there is a sense that Doug Armstrong wants to try to make some moves.”
Most of the roster will be healthy and ready to draw back in after the lineup. Obviously, this is the reason that Shattenkirk hasn’t been dealt yet; Armstrong will likely wait until after the break and close to the deadline to make a swap and see what’s available.
