In our next Players in Review post, as requested on Twitter, we will be discussing one of the Edmonton Oilers‘ young Swedish defensemen, Oscar Klefbom.
Potential
Klefbom entered the Swedish Elite League when he was only 17, playing 23 games for the championship team Frajestad. At the U-18 World Championships, Klefbom captained his team, leading them in shots and also captaining them to a Silver Medal, while also maintaining a +4. He’s a great player, with great eyes for the ice and a sense of the game around him. He can also take shots and attribute to goals.
