The Edmonton Oilers announced Sunday that the club has placed forward Max Jones on the waiver wire. The intention behind the move is for the Oilers to assign Jones to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.

This move comes ahead of the Monday October 6th roster deadline, which teams will have to trim their roster to fit within the 23-man restrictions and must be cap compliant, fitting under the 2025-26 salary cap ceiling of $95.
