Hello, Edmonton Oilers fans! In today’s Oil and News segment, we discuss whether or not GM Peter Chiarelli probably won’t use the short buyout window and what else, besides defense, the Oilers are looking to add before the start of this coming season.
GM Chiarelli has been busy this offseason. He’s drafted Connor McDavid, traded for Cam Talbot and signed Andrej Sekera and Mark Letestu, as well as re-signing Justin Schultz. However, there’s more coming, as the Oilers roster still needs a bit more work before it is perfect for the team’s opportunity to rebuild.
