The Edmonton Oilers were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention following a loss to the Colorado Avalanche Sunday, but despite their tenth straight season missing out on the postseason, the Oilers aren’t done playing meaningful hockey.
They’re far from it, actually. The Oilers fell again to Arizona on Tuesday, but you see something when they play. Sure, they’ve dropped their last two decisions, however, they are working on improving in certain areas.
