We all know the rumor that if Edmonton wins the first-overall pick again, Auston Matthews, they would trade the pick in exchange for a top-rated defenseman.
According to the rumor, they would trade the pick to Arizona, so that Matthews could play in his hometown, in exchange for Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
During a town hall of about 150 fans, Arizona Coyotes general manager Don Maloney addressed the rumor and quickly answered the question.
