The Edmonton Oilers were dominant in a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings Sunday; however, it wasn’t all positive. Despite a strong overall game, the Oilers lost a couple of players to injury.
Iiro Pakarinen was the first victim, and early in the first period, fell victim to injury. He appeared to be gripping his leg and had difficulty getting off the ice. The injury looked severe, and before the start of the third period, Edmonton announced he wouldn’t return.
Brandon Davidson was next to face a scary injury, one that led to a huge power play for Edmonton.
