When Connor McDavid was chosen first-overall by the Edmonton Oilers, it was obvious that he would be the face of the franchise going forward. His jersey was one of the most bought through the NHL, and that was what made 2015-16 so excited.
We went through the dark days when we lost McDavid to a tragedy, a broken clavicle only 13 games into the season. However, since his return on Feb. 2, he has been taking the NHL by storm, and giving the Oilers a chance to win night in and night out. McDavid has 45 points in just 41 games this season, and he is producing at least 1.
