The Edmonton Oilers held locker room clean-out on Sunday, and President/General Manager Peter Chiarelli held a press conference in order to address the Oilers 2015-16 season, as well as the offseason and the future of the team.
He started off by discussing how he was not thrilled with how the team did this season, and had much higher expectations when he took over as general manager.
“I thought we’d be at 82 points. That was my goal, so obviously we were significantly short of that,” Chiarelli said of the team’s performance.
