Well of course the Hockey Gods couldnât give the Edmonton Oilers the remaining six games of the season to play with three healthy elite centres.
During the second period of the game against the Arizona Coyotes, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was hit behind the net by Connor Murphy. Nuge got the worst of the hit because Murphy’s shoulder made contact with Nugent-Hopkins’ chin which snapped his head backwards. After the hit Nuge went back to the dressing room and he didnât return to the game.
Thursday morning it was revealed that Nuge has what theyâre calling a “minor concussion”
“We’re treating it with kid gloves at this point,” head coach Todd McLellan said Thursday.
