It is apparent that Edmonton Oilers general manager Peter Chiarelli is in fact making phone calls and looking into trade opportunities, Darren Dreger reports.
Darren Dreger, TSN’s official NHL insider, spoke to Chiarelli this morning, according to Chris Nichols, an NHL insider.

Even though Dreger spoke to Chiarelli about phone calls, he did list that there are some Edmonton Oilers who are “untouchable” including Connor McDavid, Taylor Hall, Leon Draisaitl and Darnell Nurse.
