Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid suffered a fractured collarbone and will require surgery, per Bob McKenzie of TSN.
McDavid suffered the injury after crashing into the boards during Tuesday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

McClellan Speaks on McDavid's Injury

"(McDavid has) got an upper body injury that's going to keep him out long term," head coach Todd McClellan told reporters. "Still being evaluated. He's disappointed he got injured. It's his rookie year. Things were going well for him.
