According to Elliotte Friedman and Mark Spector of Sportsnet, Peter Chiarelli is in Edmonton visiting with the Oilers.
The key here is what the position would be…Is President of Hockey Ops an option. Chiarelli flew into Edmonton today

The news comes just days after the Edmonton Oilers announced that Bob Nicholson would take the reins as CEO of the Oilers Entertainment Group.
