Break out the tissues, Oil Country. It looks like the Edmonton Oilers star rookie Connor McDavid is going to be out long-term with an upper body injury.
Connor McDavid was skating in the second period, speeding down the ice. He took a shot and fell awkwardly after a collision, then right into the boards he went. And with that fall, that horrifyingly awkward fall that brings us chills, he slammed his shoulder into the board. He was slow to get up, and when he did, the rookie was seen cradling his shoulder in apparent pain.
