Hockey Canada announced their orientation camp rosters for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic games in 2026 and four Edmonton Oilers players received invitations
The Edmonton Oilers could be very well represented at the 2026 Olympics for Team Canada as four players have been invited to the Men’s orientation camp roster. Hockey Canada released their inaugural list for their orientation camp roster for the Men's, Women's, and the Paralympics. The four players are; forwards Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and defenseman Evan Bouchard,
This marks a big change from the 2014 Olympics where the Oilers only had three representatives in total; Anton Belov for Russia, Martin Marincin for Slovakia, and Ales Hemsky for Czechia.
