The Edmonton Oilers have struggled this year in many facets of the game, causing them to be on the outside looking in at the playoff picture at the quarter mark of this 2025-26 NHL season.
Even still, there have been a number of players who have performed well up to this point in the year and a few have been turning their season around. Although the Oilers are not out of the weeds yet, it is undeniable to notice some legitimate improvements that the team has made overall.
Their depth scorers seem to be chipping in more and aside from Leon Draisaitl and captain Connor McDavid -- who were always hot -- multiple players are starting to heat up.
