CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan redshirt sophomore wrestler Zac Carson (Akron, Ohio-Lake) was named the Mid-American Conference Wrestler of the Week Wednesday, Jan. 10. It is the second wrestler of the week honor for the Eagles this season, and the first of Carson's career.
Carson had a big weekend, going 2-0 in two MAC duals. He started with a hard-earned 9-6 decision against Ohio, Jan. 5, and followed that up with a pin against Old Dominion, Jan. 7, in 3:26. It was his third pin of the season, and second in dual action.
