OTTOWA, Ontario (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University men's track and field student-athlete Payne Wylie (Saskatchewan, Canada-Colonsay School) has been selected to represent Canada at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships held in San José, Costa Rica, Athletics Canada announced in mid-June.
Wylie is one of 47 athletes (22 men and 25 women) selected to attend the biennial track and field competition, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019. The competition will feature athletes from 31 different countries throughout North and South America. The Saskatchewan, Canada native will compete in the 110-meter hurdles, one of 28 events the Canadian contingent will participate in during their time in San José.
