KENT, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team snapped a four-match losing streak with a 27-12 dual win over Kent State University Sunday afternoon, Feb. 5, at the MAC Center. It marked the second win over the Golden Flashes in program history, and the first since 1974.
EMU (6-6, 2-5 MAC) won seven of ten matches, which included pins from redshirt sophomore Kayne MacCallum (Libertyville, Ill.-Libertyville) and redshirt freshman No. 17 Noah Gonser (Grand Blanc, Mich.-Grand Blanc). KSU (2-13, 0-6 MAC), meanwhile, secured three wins, with one pin of their own.
