Women's volleyball loses to CMU 11-15

The Eastern Michigan University Eagles’ women’s volleyball team welcomed rival Central Michigan University into the Convocation Center on Thursday night. Entering the game, the Eagles were 10-10 (2-2 in the MAC) on the year, and had recently won two of their last three games with victories over Toledo and Northern Illinois. Central Michigan came in with a 9-7 record, but were just 2-3 when playing on the road.

In the first set, the crowd was thrilled when Jordan Smith dug the ball out, diving on the ground, leading to a 2-1 lead for the Eagles. At 12-12, Eastern Michigan regained the lead on a Cassie Haut spike.
