INDIANAPOLIS (EMUEagles.com) – After taking home its 12th Mid-American Conference outdoor title and securing the Triple Crown, the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team will send eight student-athletes to the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Fla., May 26-28, announced today, May 19, by the NCAA.
Sophomore Natalie Cizmas (Clinton Twp., Mich. – Chippewa Valley), who continually improved throughout the season, will make her regional-debut as a qualifier in the 1500m. Cizmas comes into the event as the No. 26 seed after posting a season-best time of 4:21.
