NOTRE DAME, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan women's track and field team closed out the second and final day of the Meyo Invitational Saturday, Feb. 8 inside the Loftus Sports Center.
Sophomore Janay Hall (Fayetteville, N.C.-South View (N.C. State)) posted EMU's best finish of the day, as she came in fourth place in the 800-meter event with a time of 2:10.92. The Eagles also netted a pair of top-10 finishes in the distance events, as redshirt senior Emily Smith (Somerset, England-Wells Cathedral School) ranked seventh in the mile with a time of 4:53.
