NOTRE DAME, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team began competition at the Meyo Invitational, Friday, Feb. 1, inside the Loftus Sports Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The Eagles' performances were highlighted by redshirt senior Allyson Goff's (White Lake, Mich.-Walled Lake Northern) fourth-place finish in the Long Jump, as her leap cleared 5.70m.

The Eagles had 14 student-athletes compete in seven events on the first day of the prestigious meet. The day saw all of EMU's runners competing in the 60m Hurdles qualify for the semifinal heats tomorrow, Feb.
