Women's Cross Country Set For Busy Weekend

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – After opening the regular season with a convincing victory at the George Dales Invitational, the Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team returns to action Friday, Sept. 20 in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown hosted by Boston College, along with Wayne State University's Second Annual Warrior Challenge presented by RunDetroit Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Eagles will head to Jamaica Plain, Mass. for the second consecutive campaign, after finishing the 2018 edition in 10th place with a team score of 254 points. The Green and White boasted two of the event's top six runners last season, as recent graduate Sydney Meyers earned fourth place with a time of 17:18.
